WonderWheels: Going where no StrongStart has gone before!!!

The ‘WonderWheels’ Bus is a mobile StrongStart program and play space. WonderWheels brings the StrongStart program to communities along our coast from Egmont to Langdale on a regular weekly schedule. Climb aboard the WonderWheels Bus, and you’ll find a wonderful playroom full of toys, puzzles, books and more!

Children five and under are welcome to attend any of our StrongStart programs with their parent, grandparent or caregiver. An Early Childhood Educator leads activities, stories and songs with the children and families. School District No. 46 (Sunshine Coast) offers the programs at no charge to families, through the support of the Ministry of Education. A free snack is served daily! No pre-registration is required – Just drop-in and join the fun!

‘WonderWheels’ Bus Schedule:

Tuesdays: In the Pender Harbour Area all day:

On the first Tuesday of the month at the Egmont Community Hall from 9:30 am – 11:00 am
On the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at Pender Harbour Public Health Unit Baby Clinic for Baby Song and Rhyme Time: 9:00 am – 10:30 am
On the third Tuesday of the month in Garden Bay at John Henry’s from the 9:30 am – 11:00 am

Wednesdays: In the Sechelt Area all day – Lauri will be with the Sechelt Indian Band from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm

Thursdays: In Davis Bay from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm With the Learning As Parents Program (LAPS) from 2:00 – 3:00

Fridays: In the Langdale/Gibsons Area all day – Find WonderWheels in the FamilyZone Room in Langdale Elementary 9:00 am – 11:00 am and in the Gibsons Area until 1:00 pm
