Ready Set Learn

The Ready, Set, Learn initiative is brought to you through a partnership between School District No.46 (Sunshine Coast), community partners on the Sunshine Coast, and the Ministry of Education. Every year, families with three year old children who live on the Sunshine Coast are invited to attend a Ready, Set, Learn SPARK! session at their local school. At this session, families receive information on how to support their child’s learning and development. Each child is given an age-appropriate book, and families learn strategies to engage three year old children when reading together. Families are given age-appropriate toys that they can take home to support their child’s learning and play. Ready, Set, Learn SPARK! sessions are offered to all families of three year old children at no cost to families.
